The Calvary Chapel School of Worship
is a NINE MONTH CERTIFICATION
program developed to facilitate those who believe God is calling them into the music ministry. Our purpose is to encourage, equip, and engage the gifts each to become musically capable and spiritually mature in their calling.
"As each one has
RECEIVED A GIFT
minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God...If
anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all
things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory
and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:10-11

Elva FryeElva Frye was born and raised in a family of musicians. Her mom is a Christian Spanish/English singer/songwriter recording artist, worship leader, and guitarist and Elva and her brothers would often sing with their mother. At age 5 Elva began playing piano and began writing songs at age 12. At age 11, she played the piano for her "pastor dad's" church worship team with her mother until she was 18. In college, Elva played at a few different open mic nights and talent contests, but found her true calling after meeting her now husband Brian. Music had become unimportant in college, but the fire was rekindled after she played at a Calvary Chapel Cafe Open Mic Night. Leading others to worship God with a sincere and open heart has become Elva Frye's main desire. “My hope as a worship leader is to remove the distractions, take a person by the hand, and say, "Come with me, let's sit at the feet of Jesus together. I don’t want anyone to miss out on what God has for them. I especially love leading worship with my husband, Brian, as there is a completeness aspect “. After marrying, they began leading worship together at their home church Calvary Chapel San Francisco and after graduating from the School of Worship in 2006 the Lord has opened doors for her to lead worship all over Southern California, across the US and the world. |
